Round table of the 10th of April 2002
Federation of peace and Conciliation, Club "Civil debates",
The Union of Ukrainians in Russia, The Institute of political studies,
NIS "Strana.ru", The Center of international programs "Vmeste",
Information agency "UKRINFORM" conducted at the 11th of
April 2002 the round table "Russia-Ukraine- dialog of nations.
The ways of co-operation". within the framework of the project
of the FPC "Russia multinational. Peace through the culture.
The prospects of further co-operation between Russia and Ukraine at
the level of power, elite, civil society were discussed at the round
table, in particular:
Russia-Ukraine: vector of co-operation today (the situation after
the elections)
The role of civil society in the development of the dialog of the
nations
Joint russian-ukrainian projects- factor of the extension of the mutually
profitable co-operation of the states and nations.
Vice-chairman of The Federation of Peace and Consent V.Kamyshanov,
director of the Institute of political studies S.Markov, vice-president
of the Congress of national organizations of Russia A.Grigorovitch
and others took part at the meeting of the round table "Russia-Ukraine"-
dialog of nations.

The Conference of non-governmental
organizations on the subject "Russia and the European community:
prospects of co-operation at the level of civil society" within
the framework of the project work of the section "International
co-operation, civil diplomacy, peace making movement" of the
Council of non-governmental under the chairman of the Russian State
Duma took place in the Hall of meetings of the Committee on international
affairs of the State Duma (Ohotniy ryad 1. 8th floor).
Representatives of Committees on international affairs of the Federation
Council and the State Duma, representatives of public organizations
and scientific institutes took part at the conference. Chairman of
the Committee on international affairs of the SD RF Rogozin D.O. spoke
at the conference as well as officials of the Foreign office of RF,
dealing with the problems of relations with the European Union, European
Council, NATO, OSCE and other European institutions and organizations,
activities of which is linked with the participation of the non-governmental
sector.

The Federation of Peace and
Conciliation and the Russian Union of protection of birds conducted
a charitable feast dedicated to the Day of birds in the Moscow zoo.
50 children from Moscow children houses and boarding-schools took
part in this feast.
Employees of the zoo acquainted the children with main species of
birds of Russia, conditions of their life and survival in difficult
ecological conditions.
A quiz about birds was conducted in the program of the feast. Representatives
of creative collectives of ecological magazines "Svirel"
andf "Lazur" acquainted children with the last editions
of magazines, which were given to the children. |

The meeting of the section
of the Council of the NGO under the Chairman of the State Duma "International
cooperation, people's' diplomacy peacekeeping movement".
At the meeting the Chairman of the International Сommittee of the
State Duma Dr. Dmitry Rogozin informed the purticipants on the perspectives
of cooperation of the parlamentarians with the organisations - members
of the Council. The meeting was attended by CEO of the Council Dr.
Anantoliy Kanunnikov. The meeting was chaired by Dr.Victor Kamyshanov,
vice-chairman of the IFPC. |
